I am a member of Bosavern Community Farm in St. Just.  Seems as though the day will echo some of our discussions and dilemmas.  Looking forward to joining in and meeting others involved.

i’m very very interested in this event! i’m an art student, i am looking into similar themes

I am the director of the Sustainable Trust http://www.sustrust.co.uk http://www.giantsquoit.org We are just coming to the end of a long project to restore a 5000 year old scheduled monument for the community and are starting to think about the next one. In the past we have held ‘Feast in the Forest’ in the 75 acres of woodland we manage. Food and waste are always high on our agenda. This sounds as if it could be an inspirational event.

I’m really interested in this event.  CoResist are a collective of artists-activists-educators currently working with Blue Finger Alliance to safeguard a plot of Grade A Agricultural land in Bristol (recently sentenced to become a white elephant of a park&ride metro bus scheme), and this weekend resonates with us.  I’d love to attend, and be interested in contributing a ‘fast food’ item.

Oh, I love synchronistity, I am just doing loads of research on all of this… thank you universe and you organisers too ,XXX

working as a research assistant at Plymouth University at present on Food as a Lifestyle Motivator for marginalised Plymouth groups, as well as active in creating a foraging network in the city

I would like to show and tell about my current social art project ‘Route 25 Mist/Missed’ in Bristol. Exploring peoples relationship between public transport as a means to gather food and places of resistance to ideological austerity measures along the route including Cookies Café. I hope to include a response to what I have learned during Lean Times making a new link for the project.

I am a recent graduate from the sustainable product design course here in Falmouth, looking to start a small scale aquaponics business based here in Cornwall and would love to opportunity to talk with some like minded people about alternative methods of food production.

I’m looking forward to the weekend. I have an interest in the cultural dimension of food and have been mulling ideas around this for some years.

Hello I am a crafts person based in Falmouth, my work mainly is aimed at a wealthy market simply  because they have the funds to be able to afford hand made items, but this doesn’t sit right with my ideals and i am looking to expand into some more socially conscious areas, namely local, community based growing projects, these talks sound like a perfect chance to talk with some like minded people.
